STRUCTURE
The Church Council/Leadership Team meets monthly to conduct church business and to receive Leadership Training. They provide general oversight for all ministries of the Komstad church.
The Deacons meet monthly to oversee and discuss ministries of the church. They also help refine structure, develop documents to define church life, and help create and maintain Membership (Ministry Partnership) standards. They offer spiritual guidance for the health and growth of the congregation.
The Trustees meet regularly to oversee the usage of the Buildings, Grounds and Properties of the Congregation. They maintain, repair and replace various material items as needed, and help direct financial investments in the ministry of the Komstad Church.
Leadership
Komstad Covenant Church is Congregational in our stye of Church Government. This means that all our Members have input on our direction as a Congregation.
Members (Ministry Partners) can be identified as those who participate by :
* Belonging Locally
* Attending Regularly
* Giving Generously
* Serving Faithfully
To be selected as a possible Church Council Member, Deacon, Trustee or Team Leader, a Member must be actively involved in the life of the Komstad Church on a regular basis. They must possess Spiritual Maturity, a humble spirit, and a willingness to work with others with a positive attitude.
Each year, we hold an Annual Congregational Meeting in January. After enjoying dinner together, the church votes on qualified Nominees who have been selected to serve in various Leadership capacities. We also affirm the Church Budget for the year to come.
All active Members are encouraged to attend and let their desires be known as we move forward together.
Our Mission:
Our Mission Statement is a work in progress at this time. We as Komstad Church are on a Mission from the Lord.

people who live in our Community.
