Greetings from Pastor Dan Davey
Hello everyone!
I'm Pastor Dan Davey and I am excited to be the Lead Pastor of the Komstad Covenant Church (KCC) here in Beresford, SD! My wife Misty and I came here to serve in November of 2024.
Over the years, we've had a variety of experiences in pastoral ministry and missions. We have served in leadership while preaching, teaching and sharing our faith throughout the United States and Overseas. We love meeting new people, and enjoy hosting barbecues and get-togethers at our home in Beresford.
We have 2 little Maltese dogs (Casey & Macy) who entertain us daily!
My education includes 2 seminary degrees: an Master of Arts in Leadership from Hope International University in Fullerton, California; and a MA in Religion from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts.
Misty and I are thrilled to be part of the Komstad Church Family! We're looking forward to meeting new friends and continuing to develop our relationships with our growing congregation! Let's connect soon!

What to Expect
Dress
Our Sunday mornings are fairly relaxed, so come as you are and you will fit right in. Dress is casual to business-casual.
Sunday Mornings
We have Sunday School every Sunday at 9 am for all ages: children, youth and adults.
Our worship service at 10 am features a variety of hymns and contemporary worship songs that encourage participation; a Biblical Message from the Pastor, and Application for Daily Living.
Monthly Happenings
We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of every month. All ages worship together, and there are activities for children to enjoy quietly as they sit in worship.
We have "Coffee Hour" fellowship the 3rd Sunday of every month after the service.
Nursery
During the 10 am worship services there is not a staffed nursery, but there is a well- equipped nursery room that parents are able to use at any time on Sunday morning.

We generally ask folks to attend KCC for about 6 months before they become a Member (Ministry Partner). This gives us all a chance to know each other before we make this important commitment to "being family."
To us @ KCC, Church is so much more than simply "Sunday Morning Worship."
