SUNDAY WORSHIP:
Join us for Celebrative Worship Every Sunday @ 10:00 am!
Sunday School for Adults is @ 9 AM each week
We will be going dark in August and return Sunday September 13th!.
The Youth and Children's Sunday School programs are on summer break and will also return on September 13th.
We also offer a Nursery Room for parents and their children as needed.
WHO ARE WE?
Komstad Covenant Church is part of the Evangelical Covenant Denomination (Click below for more info).
Our church was founded in 1885 by Scandinavian immigrants. Today we are one of the most ethnically diverse denominations in North America.
We are a fast growing denomination in the United States. We have more than 850 congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are organized into 11 regions called conferences.
In addition we have global partnerships around the world in many foreign countries.

Our Summer Sunday School wrapped up July 26th! We will "go dark" for August. Classes will resume on Sunday September 13th @ 9:00 am!!

Summer is Drawing To a Close....
Can you believe it's August already?! How can that be?
If you're like me, you thought you would have more time this Summer to read a few books, catch up on time with friends, get some good outdoor exercise, enjoy a tasty grilled burger, and just relax before you launch into a busy Autumn!
So what happened? Days turned into weeks and now months....and you can see the summer sun setting like the picture below! LIFE WILL NOT FREEZE FRAME for us!
We can't wait until "things slow down" before we make those important decisions and step into the new directions God is calling us to serve! We have to make a deliberate choice to pursue New Opportunities God is laying before us.
I'm being stretched with 2 new classes starting in September.
The preparation for these classes starts right now!
The first is called "Relational Wisdom". It's an 8-week class designed to launch us on a life-long journey to a God-centered, biblically-grounded way of treating others. Many Individuals, Pastors and even whole Churches take this training to help improve how we interact in all our relationships. I'm excited to see where this takes me and our Congregation in the future.
The second class is "The Preaching Lab", with classes monthly from September through June 2027. It's designed to help a small group of pastors critique and encourage each other to become more effective
in our preaching.
Please be praying for me as I prepare for these classes and attend with small groups of "cohorts" (Fellow Students). This is part of how I try to walk out what it means to "be a lifelong learner."
So let me finish with this question: What are you planning to do this Autumn to become a stronger Follower of Christ? How will you become a better version of you? Summer's almost over....what will Autumn bring for you?

in an exciting way!

Sunday Service In The Park!
It was a beautiful and wonderful day worshipping God in the great Outdoors! Several ladies helped lead our singing and Pastor Dan preached a Special Message entitled "Confidence!"
We had a great time together!
Let's do it again next Summer!
