Once upon a time there were two penguins named Bob and Lizzie. Bob always pestered Lizzie, and they were very greedy. Lizzie thought that since she was the youngest, she should get all the presents. Bob thought that since he was the oldest, he should get all the presents. Bob always complained to mom and dad that he had to do all the chores, dishes, and clean his room.

One day Bob and Lizzie were watching TV:
"Hi, this is Pastor Larry from Beresford. Do you have anything to do the day before Christmas Eve? Well, come to church and watch the children's Christmas concert. We will be giving each other these cute little polar bear ornaments!"

"Who would ever want to give or go to church?" Bob exclaimed.

Suddenly Bob and Lizzie got sucked into the TV like a piece of popcorn going into a vacuum cleaner.

"AAAHHH!" they both screamed at the top of their lungs.

"BBrrr, where are we?" Lizzie asked.

"I - I think we're on an iceberg in - in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean," Bob explained.

Now Bob and Lizzie were REALLY nervous.

"How are we gonna get home?" they thought.

"I think I know," some mysterious voice answered.

"Huh, who's that?" Bob whimpered.

That voice was an enormous Polar Bear.

"So you don't believe in Christ," the Polar Bear responded.

"Well," Bob replied.

"No - no, let me show you something," the Polar Bear insisted. "Hop on my back. We are going to follow that star up there, and we will see Baby Jesus."

Finally they agreed. It took hours and hours though, but soon they got there.

"Well, here we are finally!" the Polar Bear giggled.

"So, will you go the Christmas program at church?" asked the Polar Bear.

"Oh Yeah!" Bob and Lizzie answered right away.

"Wow! That's Baby Jesus!" Lizzie replied.

"Yeah," Bob agreed.

That Baby Jesus was the most beautiful thing in the world.

"Well, you guys should be getting home now. Your parents are probably worried," the Polar Bear answered.

"Bu-But how?" Bob asked.

"Just close your eyes and say, 'I believe,'" commanded the Polar Bear.

"Okay," they both answered.

"I believe, I believe," they chanted in a solemn voice.

Suddenly, they popped out of the TV.

"Whoa, that was weird!" Bob exclaimed.

"Hey.  We should go to the concert," Lizzie squealed.

Off they went, actually going to church. It was a beautiful concert. Now Bob and Lizzie believed in Christ. When they got home, they came with Jesus in their heart.

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us.
And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
