From its beginnings as a Mission congregation in 1874, Komstad Church has provided a place for families to
gather for
worship and fellowship near the towns of Beresford and Centerville in rural South Dakota.
Some of our families still
trace their history to the Swedish settlers who built the church. And
some of us have come more
recently, bringing our own histories with us.
We celebrate our heritage in all its forms, because the history of Komstad tells a story of faith that thrives through
all of our generations.
That faith in Christ now shapes our
lives, just as it once shaped the lives of pioneers before us. Browse
the site and see how our church family is growing in grace, in faith,
and in size.
